I am a licensed counsellor dedicated to supporting individuals on their journey toward emotional well-being and personal growth. I hold a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from St. Thomas University. I am a Licensed Counselling Therapist (LCT) with the College of Counselling Therapists of New Brunswick (CCTNB) and a Certified Canadian Counsellor (CCC) with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). My passion for the mental health field began during my time as a behavioural interventionist with Autism Intervention in Saint John, NB, where I supported individuals on the autism spectrum and their families. I bring a warm, empathetic, and trauma-informed approach to my work, drawing from both my education and hands-on experience to help clients navigate challenges, build resilience, and create meaningful change. Outside of my professional practice, I value time with family and friends and remain committed to ongoing learning and personal growth as a therapist. I tend to draw from approaches such as Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), trauma-informed care, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), but I always strive to meet clients where they are. I work with clients who struggle with: • Depression • Anxiety • ADHD • Workplace stress • Autism spectrum disorder • Relationship issues

I believe that many of the struggles we experience are understandable responses to what we’ve been through, not signs that something is wrong with us. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or simply ready for change, I provide a warm, non-judgmental space where you can explore your experiences at your own pace. My goal is to help you develop a deeper understanding of yourself, build self-compassion, and create a life that feels more authentic, meaningful, and aligned with your values. I draw from a range of evidence-based therapies, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and somatic approaches. Together, we’ll explore not only your thoughts and behaviours, but also the emotions, nervous system responses, and patterns that have helped you survive, and discover new ways of moving forward that feel supportive and sustainable. I hold a Bachelor of Science with a major in Psychology and Biology from the University of New Brunswick Saint John (UNB Saint John), as well as a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. I am a Licensed Counselling Therapist – Candidate (LCT-C) registered with the College of Counselling Therapists of New Brunswick (CCTNB). I work with adults navigating borderline personality disorder (BPD), the impacts of domestic violence and abuse, grief and loss, relationship concerns, major life transitions, anxiety, emotional regulation, self-esteem, and other challenges that can make life feel difficult to navigate. I believe that healing happens through a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, acceptance, and collaboration, and I am committed to supporting you as you move toward greater resilience, inner harmony, and lasting change.

Hi! I am Tricia and I am the founder of Seen Heard Found Counselling
My main focus is complex trauma, PTSD and c-PTSD, and dissociative disorders.
I have a passion for walking with people to help heal the impact of trauma and grief. So much that I continue working to expand my knowledge and understanding of the impact of complex trauma and dissociative disorders. It has led me to learn and incorporate several modalities into treating trauma and its impact on day-to-day living. This includes: Accelerated Resolution Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Clinical Hypnosis, and EMDR. In October 2026, I will be including Deep Brain Reorienting into my practice as well.
A Canadian Certified Counsellor, with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association as well as a Licensed Counselling Therapist with the College of Counselling Therapists of New Brunswick. Tricia has received specialized training in trauma through The International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation (ISSTD), EMDR International Association (EMDRia), Internal Family Systems Counselling Association (IFSCA), the Florida Society for Clinical Hypnosis (FSCH), and the Rosenzweig Centre for Rapid Recovery.

I have always been deeply passionate about working with others, a passion shaped by both personal and professional experiences. Over the past four years, working in early intervention supporting children and families has been transformational and continues to guide how I approach my work. I strive to create a space where clients, whether children, teens, or adults, feel seen, heard, and valued, and are empowered to embrace their full selves. I welcome and support clients who are 2SLGBTQIA+ and neurodiverse, working to ensure that everyone feels respected, affirmed, and safe in their journey.
Drawing from, but not limited to, Client-Centred, experiential, Narrative, and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy approaches, my goal is to provide clients with individualized tools to support themselves during times when life feels heavy or overwhelming. I have experience supporting clients with anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, challenges with self-esteem, parenting struggles, and trauma-related concerns, though my work is not limited to these areas. Your experiences will guide our approach, and I aim to support you in feeling confident and capable when navigating life’s ups and downs.

Throughout my own therapeutic journey, I’ve come to understand how nerve-wracking the counselling process can be. However, through my strengths-based and trauma-informed approach, my goal is to guide you on a path towards self discovery as I gain insight about your strengths and help you tap into them. Clients are encouraged to take an active part in their healing by offering feedback, creating a collaborative relationship. Many of the people who come to me are carrying trauma, anxiety, or spiritual hurt and feel overwhelmed, alone, empty or distant from people; far from God. They want a space where they can be honest about their pain without fear of judgment. Their hope is to break old patterns, rebuild relationships, reconnect with their Creator and rediscover clarity, meaning, and the steady presence of someone who will walk with them like Jesus does. I offer warm, creative, person-centered, and trauma-informed therapy grounded in compassion and faith. I work with individuals, couples, and families of all kinds as they explore their wounds, calm overwhelming emotions, heal spiritual hurts, and strengthen their closest relationships. I prayerfully integrate psychodynamic therapy, (IFS), narrative work, and the CAMS model for suicidality to help clients move toward wholeness and hope. You don’t have to carry this alone. Healing grows in safety, honesty, and even moments of lightness—therapy doesn’t have to be serious all the time. I’m creative and not afraid to laugh with you along the way. I love to explore what hurts, what works, and what’s possible. I’d be honoured to hear your story and help you write the next chapter.
