Leah is a master’s student through the Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology program at Yorkville University. She will be joining Seen Heard Found as a counselling intern in January.
Leah’s empathetic and kind character allows clients to feel supported, comforted, and open to exploring challenges. Leah utilizes a multitude of evidence-based modalities such as cognitive behavioural therapy, solution focused therapy, as well as mindfulness-based approaches. Leah believes in a person-centered approach and encourages the power of working collaboratively with clients in order to set goals and explore challenges, thoughts, and patterns.
By fostering a safe space rooted in empathy, compassion, and autonomy, clients can feel supported through their therapeutic journeys. Leah believes everyone’s therapeutic journey looks different from one another and will adapt sessions to fit each client’s individual needs.

Jessica is completing her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counselling at Kingswood University, located in Sussex NB. She has previously completed her Bachelor of Arts degree through the University of New Brunswick in Saint John, majoring in Psychology and Philosophy. Prior to starting her journey of graduate level education, Jessica held supportive roles as a coach and mentor; focusing on women’s emotional support and well-being.
Jessica brings with her a passion for walking with women who find themselves feeling stuck in patterns shaped by relationships with unhelpful and often painful dynamics, low self-worth, and emotional overwhelm. She is drawn toward evidence -based approaches, such as Narrative Therapy to help women improve communication, understand and refine their beliefs and values, while rewriting their story to include strength, clarity, and purpose. Jessica works hard to create a safe, non-judgemental space for women to process experiences, gain insight, and move toward meaningful personal change.
